Dress to Impress
You can tell a lot by a character by the way the person dresses! If someone smells good and looks nice they attract others, but if their clothes are hideous and their clothes stench, people have the tendency to avoid that person at sight. For example, a job interview is a great topic! In a job interview you must look presentable, you have to look as if you really want the job and you should also have fresh creases in your clothes to let the interviewer know you care about first impressions. For example, Sally Mae and Marilyn Jae both had a interview for the same company. Marilyn Jae wore a Long black pencil skirt which passed her knees with some black pumps; she also had a nice tan blouse. Sally Mae wore a pink mini skirt with a pair of open toe pumps; she also had on a white blouse, which showed cleavage. Furthermore, Marilyn Jae received a phone call stating that she has the job and they informed her about how they liked the way she presented herself. Sally Mae didn't get the job and it crushed her heart like two cars in a wreck. She didn't understand why she didn't get the job and her friend did.
Moreover, people will judge you by the way you dress. People will take all types of misconceptions and put you in a category that you may not want to be in. The way you dress brings different aspects upon yourself. You can attract the wrong crowd of people and certain things will follow you til eternity giving you a bad reputation. Eventually you'll get it together but hopefully it want be to late. Today's society you must look nice to get any where in life important to you. You may not think people care about the way you look or even pays atention, but they do. The point i'm trying to get across is that you don't have to leave the house and dress fancy everyday, but to take time and consider about your choice in clothing. You don't have to dress to impress but be presentable at all times.
